The remote control and energy efficiency systems of LFM plants and utilities of a Rail plant allow you to achieve, through diagnostic activity and/or equipment command prompts and centralized, automated management of same, the optimization of human resources, improvement in quality of services provided, programmability of maintenance activities and reduction of various consumptions, and primarily that of energy consumption.

For this purpose, servo remote control can occur in either a local or remote place (at appropriate control centers) with the possibility of maximum distribution of information to the entire national territory.

For these reasons, the system is standardized in order to obtain the highest level of scalability and portability, which adds an equally remarkable ease of installation and use.

Local Implementation

The system, in its local implementation, is designed to handle the following systems:

  • Illumination with light towers
  • Lighting of shelters and subways
  • Electric heating switches
  • Water, electricity and gas meters

The constituent parts are:

  • A station cabinet (QoS), equipped with a PC and touch panel display, with the task of controlling and monitoring the power of the main consumers as well as locally monitoring the status of the entire system. The functions carried out, in terms of data collection from the peripheral equipment, processing and presentation to the operator via an efficient and intuitive graphical interface constitute the operational core of the system
  • Data Acquisition Modules (MAD), or peripheral modules for the management, control and diagnosis of entities managed remotely. These modules communicate with the QoS through waves conveyed on the backbone of power lines (the system is designed to interface with modules specific to R.E.D., Lamp, etc.)
  • Smart Station: Armadio di Piazzale
  • Square cabinets (AdP) equipped with suitable data acquisition modules, called MAD-RED, with the specific task of feeding the self-regulating heating cables for electric heating of switches (R.E.D.).
  • Weather center equipped with

  • Expansion panels (EQdS) as optional additions, to allow you to increase the number of managed entities

Remote Implementation / Supervision

Remote supervision, with the ability to communicate with one or with various QoS however geographically dispersed and interconnected via the RFI data network allows, from a remote station, command, control, and diagnosis of each remotely managed plant as a whole and/or the individual entity or equipment.
